Binance Joins EU-Led OSINT Training to Support Moldova’s Law Enforcement

Organized by the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), the event aimed to boost digital investigation skills among Moldovan law enforcement.

The session brought together 25 specialists from various local investigative units. It was part of EU4Security Moldova, an initiative designed to arm European law enforcement with real-world tools to combat crime using open data.

Binance Shares Crypto Crime Insights at EU4Security

As the only crypto firm invited, Binance’s presence underscored the growing importance of blockchain analysis in modern investigations. A representative from the company’s Special Investigations Team led a dedicated workshop focused on tracking illicit crypto activity through open-source methods.

The hands-on session provided participants with technical tools, practical tips, and case studies on crypto-related crime trends.

EU4Security Moldova, launched by the EU and CEPOL last year, aims to improve operational capacity and foster cooperation between law enforcement and private-sector experts.

By joining forces with CEPOL, Europol, and other stakeholders, Binance continues to support global efforts to build safer financial ecosystems and strengthen international partnerships in fighting digital crime.
