Hi everyone,
I’m completely new to trading – not just in crypto, but finance and stocks in general – and I’d really appreciate some guidance.
1. Learning Resources: What are some good beginner-friendly resources (websites, YouTube channels, or courses) to start learning how to trade crypto from scratch? I know absolutely nothing yet but want to build a solid foundation before risking real money. 2. Mobile vs. PC Trading: Is it realistic to do all my trading on a mobile device, or is a laptop/PC necessary for serious trading? Will I be at a big disadvantage if I only use my phone? 3. Best Platform for Non-US Citizens: I’m currently in the US but don’t have an SSN, so most platforms won’t let me verify my account. So far, Crypto.com seems to work, and I’ve used Binance back home. It looks like I can only access non-US Binance here with a VPN.
I’m okay and willing to use a VPN for Binance if it’s truly the best option long-term, but I’m concerned about possible issues with account support or withdrawals if Binance detects I’m accessing it from the US while using the non-US version. Since I’ll likely be returning home in 2–3 years, I’d prefer a platform that works both here and internationally without major complications.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to point me in the right direction. I’m just trying to avoid beginner mistakes and learn the right way from day one.
