Suuuuuper jazzed Fidelity just started up Roth IRA Crypto accounts. I’ve been aching to roll over my current Roth IRA to BTC so I could have a tax advantage zero capital gains exposure to BTC and really glad I didn’t have to go the SDIRA path (fees)
To anyone that uses fidelity, this is game changing if you have a solid existing Roth IRA. They do 1% spread fees, which sucks, but you get to trade BTC on the fly and obviously the tax advantage nature of a Roth way outpaces the cost of spread fees (no taxes and no capital gains, if you withdraw after 59.5yo). You don’t have keys, which is another huge downside. But this feels like the best nest for my Roth comparatively speaking.
