I recently got a strange message on Instagram that reads:
“The doctor told me I have only one month left to live. I have decided to spend this time traveling alone, quietly bidding farewell to this world. I have no children and no regrets—except for not being able to be with you in this lifetime. You were my first love, and you have always been in my heart. I have left you some assets, hoping that this gesture will bring us together in the next life.”
Below the message, he provided a username and password for a cryptocurrency exchange platform called Coinwh.com. When I checked, the account holds $6,820,652.98 USDT.
The problem is, I don’t have the key password. However, the platform allows transfers with just the username and password, but to do that, I’d need to upgrade a second account to VIP, which costs $1,500.
I don’t know much about crypto, so my question is: Is this even legit, or is it some kind of scam I should avoid? It seems official, but at the same time, it feels too good to be true.
What should I do?
